Dr. Kevin Jackson D.C., CEO
Research, design, development and production
Dr. Jackson is a 1989 graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic. He attended Brock University for a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree. He also studied at Niagara College for a business management degree.
Dr. Jackson has 30 years of clinical experience with sports injuries and whiplash patients. He owns and operates one of the largest clinics in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jackson speaks nationally and internationally at chiropractic schools and state organizations. His current project is to lessen the concussion problem in football through research, innovation and design.
Cameron Showell
Impact testing and data generation
Cameron joined the Chesapeake Testing Family in 2009 as a Junior Engineering Student at the University of Delaware. After a one-year internship, Cameron came on full time with his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and tasked with the responsibility to establish and expand the company’s environmental/materials testing division. This division performs stab testing, hardness testing, and impact and compression testing on body armor. Cameron also leads environmental tests through the use of our environmental chambers and containers and conditioning tanks. In addition, Cameron serves as lead of the company’s college internship program and assists with establishing and maintaining various quality control efforts for daily operations using a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of Delaware in 2012.

Master Tool and Mold has a complete facility, an experienced staff, and can run fully automated for three shifts with around the clock capabilities. The company specializes in small parts up to 1” cubed in diameter and provides consistent repeatability of high quality part production. The company is focused and equipped to operate in capacities in-between micro-molder and large injection molder. Master Tool is able to run with up to 55 ton machines.
Dr. Kristen Willeumier PhD
Lead researcher and data analysis
Kristen Willeumier, PhD, is a neuroscientist with knowledge on how the brain is affected by health, nutrition and the impact of concussions. Dr. Willeumier served as the Director of Research for the Amen Clinics from 2009-2016 to help advance the research mission of exploring how brain SPECT imaging can transform clinical practice. She has authored or co-authored 44 scientific manuscripts in peer reviewed journals. Areas of published research include traumatic brain injury, posttraumatic stress disorder, attention deficit disorder, autism, biomarkers of suicide, obesity, gender differences in brain function, clinical outcomes, and brain rehabilitation. Together with Dr. Amen and colleagues, she led a clinical research trial investigating the long-term effects of repetitive subconcussive impacts in NFL football players. Subsequent work focused on therapeutic approaches to rehabilitate brain function in athletes. The current emphasis of her work is in investigating biomarkers for treatment of psychiatric disorders using machine learning applications.
Dr. Willeumier conducted her graduate research in the laboratory of Neurophysiology at the University of California, Los Angeles and the laboratory of Neurogenetics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center using live cell imaging to investigate mechanisms of synaptic signaling in Parkinson’s disease. She received MS degrees in physiological science and neurobiology and a PhD degree in neurobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she continued her work in the field of neurodegenerative disease. She was the recipient of the prestigious NIH fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health to study the molecular mechanisms underlying Parkinson’s disease and has presented her work at national and international scientific meetings including the Society for Neuroscience, Gordon Conference and the World Brain Mapping Conference.
Dr. Selina Sigafoose D.C.
Financial officer
Dr. Selina is the Secretary treasurer for the International Chiropractic Association and The League of Chiropractic Women. She is also a past board member of Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her duties include budget proposals, budget oversight and recommendations. She is responsible for financial reporting and transparency in both organizations. She brings decades of financial organizational skills and budget reporting to Jackson Athletic.
Coach Mike Lopez
Football Operations Adviser
Coach Mike is an alumnus from Stanford University who was an intern coach for both Auburn Tigers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Coach Mike is here on this earth to learn, to share, and to do everything with love.
Shawn K. Leppo
Patent Attorney and Project Lawyer
Shawn practices in the Intellectual Property, Patent Division, and International Law Groups. His practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law, with a focus on litigation and counseling. Shawn assists clients in asserting and defending charges of patent, copyright, and trademark infringement in federal courts across the United States and in related mediation proceedings.
Shawn has been named a Rising Star three times by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, in which he actively participates in the Susquehanna Local Section. Shawn regularly speaks and writes on patent and other intellectual property topics of interest and his work has been featured in publications by the PA Legal Intelligencer, JD Supra, and the American Corporate Counsel Association.
Derek Taylor
Database and Biostatistics
At University of California at Irvine Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior: Database administrator and biostatistician for Biobehavioral Research on Adolescent Development Program. Manage data for thee NIH sponsored grants. Developed extensive ETL routines using Python to transfer from external assessment tools and API interface into REDCap database.
Dana Dukes
Media Relations
Dana is in charge of media relations at Sigafoose and Jackson as well as Jackson Athletic. She has designed, developed, maintained and updated a variety of web sites as assigned. She has assisted other design staff members with various aspects of site maintenance as needed. She coordinates various web pages with appropriate links and multimedia elements in collaboration with design team members. She also prepares site updates and reports for submission to management on a regular basis.
